Kimm ABOUT ME I began my hair career in 2001 as an apprentice at Vidal Sassoon 57th Street NYC. After 2 years there I then moved downtown for another 2 year apprentice program at Arrojo Studio under Nick and Lina Arrojo. Following that I spent 4 years as a Sr. Stylist at Premier Atelier formerly Jose Eber in The Westchester Mall. The next 5 years I worked for myself in White Plains, NY cutting and coloring my loyal clientele of both women and men. Currently I am on path to become a Certified Master Colorist with Wella and am certified in Brazilian Blowout. I have a strong classic foundation and love keeping up with modern and creative trends. ABOUT THE STUDIO I have personally designed the space as a reflection of my personality but with every client in mind to have the most enjoyable experience. I’ve curated the entire look and feel including the diverse music I play (mostly indie rock/new wave/electronic/alternative/hip hop/R &B). There are multiple private beauty type businesses inside 25 Burtis Avenue. I have the old living room/sitting room of this antique home and am on the ground floor corner space with views of Burtis and Cherry Street. The space is modern, chic, and cozy. Simply put it’s just very cool. I work completely solo and see one client/family at a time. It creates a very VIP luxury feeling with total privacy and tranquility. I look forward to welcoming you!
